United States Capitol
This is the building that has defined the Washington DC skyline since the present dome was completed and topped with the statue of Freedom in 1863. Sonshine Educational Tours can arrange for your group to tour this iconic building. The tour begins with a short movie in the new Visitors Center and includes Statuary Hall (the original House of Representative Chamber), the Rotunda and the Crypt. Be sure to spend time in Exhibit Hall.
Your group may also arrange a visit to either the Senate or House of Representative Galleries through your congressman. At your request, your Senator or Representative may meet with your group for a picture and question and answer session.
