Faneuil Hall, near the waterfront and today’s Government Center, in Boston, has been a marketplace and a meeting hall since 1742. It was the site of several speeches by Samuel Adams, James Otis, and others encouraging independence from Great Britain.
Faneuil Hall is Bordered by the financial district, the waterfront, the North End, Government Center and Haymarket and is part of the popular Freedom Trail. It is within easy walking distance of the New England Aquarium, Paul Revere’s House, The Old State House and the Children’s Museum.
