Williamsburg celebrated its 300th anniversary in 1999. It was America’s first planned city. Laid out in 1699 as a model capital, a visit to restored Colonial Williamsburg is a step back in time to a thriving 18th century community. It’s a theater of living history.
Your guided grade level appropriate tour of Colonial Williamsburg includes visits to many of the working shops, governors mansion and the Capitol with a trained Williamsburg educator. Also available are Williamsburg evening haunting tours, Early American Medical program and Religion and Revolution. Your group will also want to spend some time exploring the shops on the Duke of Gloucester Street.
Colonial Williamsburg is usually combined with visits to Jamestown and can include Yorktown, Busch Gardens (seasonal), Monticello, Luray Caverns and Washington DC.
